Depends on route that's mostly flat but may be up to 1500 feet.

Mostly flat paved trail.

Afternoons / evenings at CDA River Campground.

Non-Members:

Non-Members can join TWBC and register for the ride online at Member Subscription for only $30.00.

Rider Safety:

Please come prepared to ride. We recommend you inspect your bike the night before. Along with your bike, bring an approved helmet, ID, water
bottle, first aid kit, tire repair equipment, other essentials, and a friendly attitude. All riders are expected to ride safely and obey the rules of the road.


Ride Description:

Summer Road trip to Idaho. Destination is CDA River Campground (cdariverrv.com), Cataldo Idaho, June 19 to 22, checkout on June 23.

Camp at the CDA River Campground (cdariverrv.com) at Cataldo Idaho and ride the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes. Ride on the trail east to Wallace (23 miles each way) or further to Mullan (30 miles each way). Ride on the trail west to Harrison (27 miles each way) or further to Plummer (43 miles each way). You could also drive to Harrison and ride from there to Plummer (16 miles each way). You could drive to Lookout Pass (34 miles from Cataldo) and ride the unpaved Trail of the Hiawathas.

Optional add-on: Camp on June 23 at Harrison RV Park (cityofharrisonid.com, RV Reservation link) and do day rides from there.

Tent camping and RV sites are available. We will ride the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes for two days and a quiet side road into the mountains. Next stop is the Harrison Marina on June 23 to ride across the lake to Plummer. Next stop is USFS Telichpah Campground to explore the St Joe River Scenic Byway and trail on June 24.

At Cataldo, dining is available at the famous Snake Pit restaurant, an old stage coach stop.

And you can bring your Paddle Board. And Walmart is within cycling distance. And you can visit Center of the Universe in Wallace Idaho.
